Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex twice world boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As both boxers engaged in the usual confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
